NHSO earmarks over THB1 billion for shipment of rapid test kits

In a meeting on Monday, the National Health Security Office (NHSO) earmarked 1.014 billion for the purchase of rapid antigen test kits to help uncover more Covid-19 cases nationwide.
The prime minister, his close aides and other government officials underwent Covid-19 tests on Friday after a housekeeper at the Cabinet lounge tested positive on Wednesday.
On Friday, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) began testing Thai nationals living or working in Soi Lalai Sap (Silom Soi 5) in Bangkok’s Bang Rak district after 13 Covid-19 cases were discovered in the area.

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has extended proactive Covid-19 testing for people who live near six markets in Bangkok's Bang Khae district, after a cluster of 96 infections was discovered at one of the markets last week.
The Food and Drug Administration has cleared a 10-minute covid-19 test that doesn't need added equipment to process, manufacturer Access Bio said Tuesday.
